Positions and Achievements

I have been an avid bidder for about 25 years starting about the time my family and I moved from the Chicago suburbs to Alberta, Canada. I started keeping a life list in 1980. I am a native Philadelphian and when we returned to the area in 1985 I continued to pursue my hobby. My in-laws owned a home at Buck Hill Falls in the Pocono's,where we now reside. We also have a home in Ocean City NJ and I became active with the Cape May Bird Observatory and have taken a number of workshops and birding hikes with them. I am also a member of the National Audubon Society, The Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology and the Pocono Avian Research Center. We also enjoy taking occasional nature vacations to destinations such as Costa Rica and most recently Trinidad. I am currently President of the Buck Hill Conservation Foundation, a public 401(c)3 Land Trust. I also write a periodic column "The Buck Hill Birder" for our community newsletter "The Breeze".
