They are coming our way so let's get ready! It's been a whole year since our friends from the south passed through the Delaware Valley on their way to breeding grounds to the north. In this refresher session, Ian Gardner will remind us how to make the most of the migration with tips on locating migrating birds by sight and sound. Best locations and some important information about timing.
Ian was born, raised in Central PA. It's also where he went to college and graduate school, and where he currently lives and works. He earned his B.S. degree in Wildlife Conservation at Juniata College, and his M.S. degree in Forest Resources at Penn State University. He's spent the last 3 years working as a Wildlife Technician at Fort Indiantown Gap, where he specialize in birds, plants, and moths. This is a joint trip with Willistown Conservation Trust and is free to members and non-members.
