DVOC Field Trip Report
May 20, 2007 (Sunday) - WESTMINSTER CEMETERY, PECO PROPERTY, WEST LAUREL HILL CEMETERY

Led by local expert Gregg Gorton, a group of seven enthusiasts much enjoyed this visit May 20 to West Laurel Hill Cemetery and the adjoining Peco property in Montgomery County, PA., just west of Route 1.
The morning produced 63 species, including 13 warbler species (incl'g Canada and Northern Waterthrush ), 4 thrush species (Gray-cheeked and Swainson's Thrushes, most notably), 3 swallow species, 4 flycatcher species, Indigo Bunting, Ruby-throated HB, and Baltimore Oriole. On a less windy day, 70-75 species would be achievable.
