Paul and Anita Guris hosted the DVOC Picnic on Sunday August 24 at Green Lane Reservoir. After a delightful early afternoon bar-b-que in the park the group ajourned to the nearby Guris residence for the consumption of alcoholic beverages and general birding discussions. Birding was limited but congratulations to Alberta Windfelder for finding an adult and juvenile Red-headed Woodpecker.
