 Thanksgiving\, please join us for a walk at this beautiful NE Philly spot.
 \nPennypack on the Delaware is uniquely positioned along the river\, provi
 ding crucial habitat for migrants and the odd rarity. The flats at the con
 fluence of Pennypack Creek and the Delaware frequently host gulls and shor
 ebirds.\n\nLet's meet at the covered picnic area (GPS: 40.0277033\, -75.01
 2093). We'll walk around 1.5 miles on a mix of paved and dirt trails. If t
 he tide is low enough\, we'll likely check out the mud flats\, which requi
 res a very short off-trail excursion. Dress for weather.\n\nNo binoculars
 ? No worries! Birding backpacks with binoculars and field guides are on lo
