Positions and Achievements
I have been fascinated with wildlife and nature since I was a kid, growing up in Philadelphia’s Olney neighborhood, exploring Tacony Creek Park. I went on to study Landscape Architecture at Temple University, focusing my studies on ecological restoration and preserving wildlife habitat. I now serve as the Philly Watershed Coordinator for the Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership (TTF.) Through programs with TTF and partners like Audubon PA, Wyncote Audubon and DVOC my passion for birding has really ignited - 2014 being the year I really started actively birding and contributing to eBird. I currently serve on the board of the Wyncote Audubon Society and host bird walks and environmental programming in Tacony Creek Park. The Philadelphia birding community has been an incredibly welcoming space. I’ve enjoyed getting to know so many great people these past few years and look forward to many more adventures.
