Positions and Achievements
I have been a birder for many years and lead several trips each year for Valley Forge Audubon. Over the years I have birded on four continents. Since retiring from my long-time profession of social activist/minister/ethicist I have been pursuing nature photography professionally, concentrating on birds. I see birds as creatures of beauty themselves but also as key indicators of what is going on in the environment and therefore an important source of information as we seek to create a sustainable society, another of my passions.
