We have been birding for about 8 years, since our retirement. Probably beginner/intermediate level. A college friend, who was an expert birder got us started. Since then we have been birding locally with BCDC and Audobon, but we have also enjoyed birding on trips to the Outer Banks in North Carolina, Maui and Costa Rica
