A birdfeeder suction- cupped to my dorm room window got me hooked on birds. In recent years I've re-engaged in my 38 year birding passion, only to realize how much I never knew. I've also come to appreciate how much more I hear and see when working with knowledgeable birders. Most of my birding has been along the east coast, and most of that in Philadelphia and south Jersey. My wife and I have raised a family in the Queen Village neighborhood of Philadelphia, where I now have more time with the kids grown and on their own.
