Andy Mack will present an overview of the remarkable avifauna of the eastern half of the huge island in the southwestern pacific known as New Guinea.  He has worked in Papua N.G. for many years and has written a fabulous book about his experiences, called Searching for Pekpek: Cassowaries and Conservation in the New Guinea Rainforest.
