Hello! My name is Mal and I have been interested in birding since
a young child and only recently began collecting books and going out
into the field since 2021.

I am from Cape Cod originally and have long enjoyed viewing
oystercatchers, cormorants, and all sorts of shorebirds along the
canals and ocean in Massachusetts.
I moved to Philly several years ago and enjoy birding here in the
Mid-Atlantic as well. My favorite spots in and around the city include
the Navy Yard, John Heinz, and the Wissahickon. I also enjoy a drive
to Cape May or other coastal town when I can.
