I moved here from Maryland to be nearer family after my husband
died - so I am not yet familiar with all of the local birding
hotspots. In Maryland, we overlooked the Potomac and loved the blue
herons, ospreys, eagles and owls nearby. I often went to the WMA areas
on the Eastern shore. During the pandemic, I began following bird
nesting behaviors online. I am an amateur, but enthusiastic, bird
photographer and recently went to Cape May to learn more about
shorebirds. More excursions are planned!
