I am a biology professor at Temple University and I am teaching
Ornithology (a new course for temple) in spring of 2026. I've been
spreading my wings lately, trying to learn horticulture for the sake
of birds and biodiversity. I started birding in my 20s (approximately
40 years ago) but I've gone astray trying to learn plants! But birds
have always been my true love. So here I am.
