I am an adult 'intermediate-level' birder, 9 years in the making.
From an ad in the Courier Times, highlighting weekly bird walks at
Churchville Nature Center, I began my new avocation with the world of
birds.
That was just a few years prior to retiring. Since, I have spread my
wings from local birding sites in both Bucks and Philadelphia
Counties, with frequent visits to NJ, DE, NY. I have joined various
birding tours to Fla, Minnesota, Maine, Illinois and upcoming
Colorado. Recently I experienced my first international bird tour to
Belize.
I have a keen desire to observe and document, having spent near 40yrs
in the probative field of cancer research. Birding has provided a
platform for me to participate and contribute to citizen science by
submitting field data.
