This trip is timed to see golden eagles and hopefully northern goshawk. Waggoners Gap may be a farther drive than Hawk Mountain, however you can drive almost up to the lookout so the trip is about the same and this site gets more birds! We should still get good numbers of other raptors like red-tails, red-shoulders, and sharp-shinned hawks. We often see non raptors like common loons, bluebirds, and pine siskins. We will stay on the hawkwatch until our butts hurt and head to Harrisburg for a pint at Millworks.
