Join us for a walk at one of the best migrant stopovers in Philadelphia. There, we’ll look for warblers, vireos, thrushes, and whatever we can find.
Let’s meet at the entrance at the intersection of W Sedgwick St and Wayne Ave. We’ll explore the woods and streams of the place. Please dress for weather and bring sturdy footwear due to the uneven terrain of some sections of the park.
No binoculars? No worries! Birding backpacks with binoculars and field guides are now available on loan at all branches of the Free Library of Philadelphia.
For questions, please reach out to birdphillywalks@gmail.com.
The event is free and open to everyone.
