We will hike a circuit through this property through a wide variety of habitats, including small parcels of forest, meadows with native grasses and bird boxes and a trail that follows the Pennypack Creek. Besides the birds common to these habitats, the hike should provide opportunities to see a range of spring migrants. The trail follows the rolling terrain in the park.
Participants should be prepared for short, moderately steep sections of the trail and a good pair of hiking shoes will be helpful, but not essential. Approximate length of the hike is 2.3 miles.
Meet at the Visitor Center parking lot – 2955 Edge Hill Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19002
