Pedricktown Marsh, Gloucester County, NJ often has Sandhill Cranes. Recently, up to 21 Sandhills have been reported here.
Parking is limited so it is best to
car pool. Meet at the Wawa on Rt 322, Logan Twp.
There is no parking out on the marsh. We will walk behind the roadway barriers to get to a place where the cranes have been seen. Also possible are Tundra Swans, Northern Harriers, Bald Eagles, American Black Ducks, Greater Yellowlegs, to name a few. Depending on how long it takes to find the Sandhills, we may bird other nearby areas. Bring snacks/lunch.
