In this virtual presentation, Nicole will dish on how trading screen time for green time—watching birds do their thing—became her ultimate stress-buster and joy-bringer. From hilarious birdwatching mishaps to “AWE-some!” moments in nature, she’ll share personal stories, cool facts, and easy tips to help you find your own zen. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just someone who thinks pigeons are underrated, this talk will have you chirping with inspiration to slow down, look around, and discover how nature can help you soar.

Nicole Jackson (she/her) is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, Nicole graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Education & Interpretation. A nature enthusiast, park advocate, and urban birder, she loves spending time outside and has a passion for getting people from underserved communities connected to the wonders of the natural world. Nicole currently works as a freelance nature coach and environmental education consultant assisting in creating programs that educate youth and families on how to build a healthy relationship with nature.
