In 2022, we lost beloved friend and former DVOC President Frank Windfelder. He was a Philly Birder and holds the eBird record for Philadelphia at 303 species. One of his favorite locations was Pennypack on the Delaware [POD], located at 7801 State Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19136. The DVOC, with the help of many generous donations, worked with Riverfront North and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation to have a memorial bench placed in the park. Riverfront North has completed work in an area near the Shoreline Nature Trail. We are finally ready to honor Frank by dedicating this bench.
