Pennypack on the Delaware is uniquely positioned along the river providing crucial habitat for migrants and the odd rarity. The flats at the confluence of Pennypack Creek and the Delaware frequently host gulls and shorebirds. The park also hosts Philadelphia’s most viewable Bald Eagle nest. Dress for weather.
This time we will team up with phillyqueerbirders for an awesome event! Riverfront North is planting trees between 9 am and 12 pm so stick around to create some cool habitat for our feathered friends.
Let’s meet at the covered picnic area (GPS: 40.0277033, -75.012093).
