Event Type

We’ll explore the newest addition to Northeast Philadelphia’s riverfront – Robert A. Borski, Jr. Park. There are ballfields, a meadow, and river access. Depending on the weather and bird activity, we might do a stationary river watch. Low tide is at 8.15 am so we might be able to see some gulls on the mudflats.

The gravel trails are mostly flat. Restrooms should be open. Dress for weather.

Let’s meet at the Delaware River Trail sign at the entrance of the park next to the parking lot.

No binoculars? No worries! Birding backpacks with binoculars and field guides are on loan at all Philly Free Library branches.
