We’ll search for migrant birds in the “Birdplace” of America, while discussing bird migration through Philadelphia, with information about BirdSafe Philly & Lights Out Philly programs and be on our way to work by 8:45. National Park Service rangers will be on hand to provide some historical context and other information about birding in the park system.

No binoculars? No worries! Birding backpacks with binoculars and field guides are now back on loan at the following local Philly libraries: Andorra, Cobbs Creek, Cecil B. Moore, Falls of Schuylkill, Frankford, Greater Olney, Logan, Richmond, South Philly, Torresdale, and Widener.
