Birding is a part of my overall commitment to be an active learner and citizen related to environmental ecological concerns. I have identified myself as a birder for about 10 years and I feel I finally can delve deeper into understanding. The more I know the more I realize I don’t know – but that’s okay. I am a member of the Pennypack Environmental Center’s Advisory Council (Secretary for about 5 years). Business travel has allowed me opportunities for some birding adventures. Currently, I am a consultant, semi-retired, and seek to expand my birding knowledge and experience. I believe that membership with DVOC will assist, and introduce me to companionable friends. My family is supportive, but not as interested as I am. I hope you will find my application of interest.
