I began taking pictures of birds in 2019 for submittal on the
iNaturalist app but I truly began my path when I attended events two
days in a row about birds at the Academy of Natural Sciences in May
2023. Most of my birding is done in my neighborhood, at FDR Park, or
around University City. I have also made two trips to John Heinz and
it was interesting to return there a few days ago after becoming more
knowledgeable. I’m eager to become more adept at birding by ear.
