I recently retired from teaching elementary school and environmental education. At one time I studied wildlife conservation and ornithology at Cornell University. I have been birding the Delaware Valley since I was 14. I have logged birding trips across the US and in Europe. My favorite local spots are Cape May, Hawk Mountain, Tyler Arboretum and Ridley Creek State Park.
