Growing up in rural Tennessee, I was lucky enough to spend most
of my time in nature learning from plants and animals. A Philadelphia
resident since 2011, the old trees and diverse fauna of West Philly
continue to teach me their lessons. When I’m not teaching or
gardening, I can usually be found in West Fairmount park observing the
resident and visiting birds with my dog, Lula.
