I started birding after I lost interest in rock climbing at the age of 12. My uncle was involved in the reintroduction of peregrine falcons in our area of Germany and I guess that got me interested. I have been in the US since the fall of 2010 and while i have of a lot of favorite spots on the Delmarva and along the Jersey shore, most of my birding I try to fit in locally before/after work, especially during migration season. I also like to chase though. We moved to Philly earlier in 2016 and I am currently scouting the city limits and beyond for spots before spring migration truly unfolds.
