When I was ten years old, my parents bought me a simple bird bell feeder along with a bird guide. I became hooked watching and observing bird behavior. While working on a high school project, my biggest thrill was seeing 5 male Scarlet Tanagers together flying together over the Pennypack Creek during the Spring migration.
