I have had a lifelong love for birds, especially shorebirds, but am still fairly new to the birding community. I use the Merlin app religiously, and always get a huge thrill out of identifying unique species whenever I’m in a new spot. I especially enjoy bird watching at John Heinz, along the Delaware River, and in Brigantine. I grew up in South Jersey and have lived in Philadelphia since 2021, and I’m eager to learn more about the species living in (or passing through) our own backyards. I look forward to educating myself further about the world of birding alongside neighbors who share the same passion.
