I've loved birds my whole life, but didn't take birding all that seriously until around the time pandemic started. I've always had a passion for the natural world, and to me, birding is an extension of that passion. Since then, I've been volunteering with local conservation organizations to learn more about birds and wildlife in general, and to connect with others that share the same passion. I conduct bird surveys for a land trust, monitor a local Bald Eagle nest site, and occasionally volunteer at a banding station. I'm also a wildlife photographer, and you can often find me photographing birds of prey in Valley Forge Park. I'm currently a senior at Ursinus College pursuing my B.A. in Environmental Studies and Art.
