I hold an M.S. in Earth and Environmental Science and studied Evolutionarily Stable Strategies including an emphasis on birds. Later, my bird watching activities were peaked as a Seasonal National Park Ranger with Gateway NP at Sandy Hook in NJ. Bird watching eventually became a year round activity through a convergent, mutual interest between I and my mother.
Having recently moved to Philadelphia, I\'ve been seeking a way to stay connected with birding and the outdoors in general. Upon a chance meeting with Tory, a club member, I learned of her affiliation with DVOC. A recent walk at Bartram Gardens with club members confirmed for me that DVOC membership will give me plenty of opportunities to fulfill important personal objectives; all the while residing in an urban environment.
