I got started seriously birding during the COVID epidemic. My
main birding location is John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge. I have
been a member of the Friends of Heinz Refuge (FOHR) Board of
Directors for the past year and I am the Chair of the Photo Committee.
I coordinated the reestablishment of the Heinz Refuge Photo
Competition which had been dormant since 2019 and updated it to
include online entry of photos followed by a physical show of the top
works submitted at the Refuge Visitor Center.
