I began casually birding around 2 years ago when I was in
Wilmington Delaware. I was walking down the river and noticed all the
different kinds of waterfowl swimming and diving around. From then I
went to John Heinz and was truly blown away by the uniqueness of each
bird. I then was gifted a set of binoculars and my real birding
journey began. I spend hours on my apartments deck looking for birds,
going to parks around my apartment, looking in trees and on street
poles wherever I walk. I’ve really developed a true passion for birds
and I’d love to further my education and experiences in the field.
