Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, my family enjoyed watching birds at the feeder outside our large kitchen window. On the kitchen table was a copy of North American Birds. That was many years ago, however a few years back I went on a Spring warbler walk at Tinicum, where I saw my first warbler, a Black-and-White. That was the beginning of the end.
