Walt Nadolny and Sharon Hardy started birding as a couple in 2012. We have always had feeders and an interest. Our daughter was taking a field ornithology class and started sending us a "bird of the day" photo. She thought getting into birding would be good for us, getting us outside, walking and engaging our eyes, ears and brains. Our other daughter gave us a good camera, which got Walt back into photography and is so helpful for ID shots of birds, as well as producing some amazing shots. Since then birding has become a shared passion that gets us outside often and has become the focus for travels. We bird locally at Palmyra, Heinz and make sure to get to Cape May in Spring and Fall and Bombay Hook
