After we had so much fun in April, we’ll be back for an after-work birdwalk in the Girard Estates neighborhood! We’ll walk around the leafy streets and check out Stephen Girard Park. It’s peak spring migration, so we are bound to see some birds!
The event is open to everyone and all skill levels. We will go over binocular use, field guides, and apps if needed. Everyone is welcome to stay for as long or as short a time as they like. Restroom access is unavailable. Check the weather and dress for comfort. These events will happen rain or shine; cancel for downpours and storms.
Please meet at the Thomas F. Donatucci, Sr. Library, 1935 W Shunk St at 5.30 pm.
The Free Library loans out Birding Backpacks, containing binoculars, field guides and trail maps at ALL locations!
