Meet at the Barnegat Lighthouse parking lot. We’ll look for Harlequin Ducks, Common and Red-throated Loons, Common and Red-breasted Mergansers, Purple Sandpipers, Snow Buntings, and more. This is a great time of year to hear and see Long-tailed Duck drakes starting to court females. After birding at Barnegat Lighthouse, we’ll bird the inlets along Long Beach Island. We will stop at the local deli for lunch or bring your own for this all-day trip. Dress for the weather.
