Trip Leaders: Yong Kong, Harvey Tomlinson and Marc Chelemer
This trip was not for the faint of heart. Trip leader(s) Yong Kong, Harvey Tomlinson, Marc Chelemer battled the dust and bugs to show participants some common shorebirds including Dunlin, Semi-palmated Sandpipers, a few White-rumped Sandpipers, Short-billed Dowitchers and rare birds including Curlew Sandpiper and TWO Red-necked Phalaropes. No-see-ums numbered in the millions and drove off a few participants early but the tough ones hung in there for the whole loop.
